June 3:  Division Election Meeting; also called our Mini-Convention. This will be held on June 3rd with doors opening up at 8 am and meeting at 9 am in Evergreen Park Post #854. The address is 9701 S. Kedzie Ave., Evergreen Park.  All members are invited to attend, but only Delegates can vote. Your voice, your vote decides the direction of the First Division and Department for the upcoming year.

June 14: Donation Sponsors For Hospitality Suite; Last Day to make sure you are listed on the advertising material. Donations will be collected through convention but the last day to ensure we get you listed as a sponsor is June 14th. Donations are needed to ensure our hospitality suite at convention has the food, beverages and supplies for our Division members. 

July 12-14: Department Convention, at the BOS Center in Springfield, Illinois. Our Division is staying at the Wyndham which is across the street.  All Post Adjutants will receive a convention packet in the mail. 

July 30 - The 1st Division will be sponsoring a day at the ballpark with the Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland July 30th, 2023 1:10 pm.  The donation is $93.00 which includes game ticket, Two Hour Patio Party - All-You-Can-Eat/Drink Buffet before the game.  Additional giveaways and free door prizes Please RSVP as soon as possible.
