This year's Boys State is schedule for June 12th to the 18th, 2021. How is the time to start visiting the high schools in your District to talk to the teachers and make them aware of the great program to help develop leadership abilities of some of the young boys in their class. The importance of membership and attending the state convention. To: All Division and District Officers and Adjutants....... Annual Post Data Reports were sent to Post in late February. This is how you adjust your Post dues amount. This form must be sent back as soon as possible. A Department dues increase of $4.00 will be voted on at the State Convention. The current resolution states that it would go into effect with the start of the 2021-2022 Membership year. The first dues notices for the 2021-2022 Membership year are normally dropped in the mail in early July. So, if your Posts want to increase their dues to cover the proposed dues increase they must raise their dues now, by using the Annual Post Data report. A special mailing will be sent to all Posts to advise them of the pending Convention action. Please spread the word to your Posts. The problems that were caused by the Covid restrictions have made this dues increase needed. Membership is what makes the organization strong, increasing membership and a dues increase would not be needed. I ask for your help in increasing the membership for Department of Illinois.
